RULE & REGULATIONS
Permit to enter must be applied through the Perak State Parks Corporation.  Details on total number of people, names, identity card numbers, addresses, telephone nos. of next-of-kin, purpose and entry date must be submitted together with the application.  Each permit application must be made by a Tour Guide who is registered with the Perak State Parks Corporation.
Starting from 2012, permit application will require 1 day to process for Malaysians as well as foreigners.
   

RULES TO OBSERVE WHILE IN ROYAL BELUM STATE PARK
All visitors are must adhere to the following rules when they are in the Royal Belum State Park.  No one is permitted to enter the State Park, except in circumstances listed, and also not allowed to:-
   
1.
Enter the State Park without a valid permit from the Corporation.
2.
Enter the Park alone, and if in a group, must be accompanied by or with at least a tour guide (registered) or an officer/ranger/enforcement officer of the Corporation.
3.
Bring visitors into the State Park except by a tour guide who is registered with the Corporation only.
4.
Enter the State Park in their own boat (without license).
5.
Be on the boat inside the State Park without a life jacket.
6.
Carry out any study in the State Park without the permission of the Corporation which must be obtained by filling in the permit application form for carrying out research, collecting and taking out any specimens.
7.
Take out any species of flora and fauna as well as other things found in the State Park.
8.
Hunt, trap and use any other ways to catch any species of wildlife found in the State Park.
9.
Cut and destroy trees in the State Park.
10.
Allow any domesticated animals to enter or stray inside the State Park.
11.
Catch any fish using bombing technique, electric shock, dart, poison, casting net, hook line, net, trawl, traps and any other techniques, except to fish along the river and lakes in the State Park.
12.
Fish or any other ways to catch fish in the areas which are prohibited to catch fish by the Corporation and Perak Fisheries Department except in permitted zones only.
13.
Take out any species of fish especially of the kelah (malaysian mahseer), temoleh (carp), tengas and sebarau(hampala barb), except the toman (snakehead), baung (catfish), lampan sungai (tinfoil/goldfoil barb), sia, kaloi (carp), loma (carp), terbul (hard-lipped barb) and temperas (barb), which are permitted at 3 nos. only per angler.
14.
Stay and use the fixed and portable assets belonging to the Corporation in the State Park without the permission and approval of the Corporation.
15.
Damage or misuse the fixed and portable assets belonging to the Corporation in the State Park.
16.
Construct any buildings in the State Park without the permission of the Corporation.
17.
Litter everywhere while inside the State Park.
18.
Violate any other provisions in these rules which will be made by the Corporation from time to time.
